Gay Easter Parade


The Gay Easter Parade took to the streets of the French Quarter on Sunday (April 5). It was the 16th year for the event, which benefits theNO/AIDS Task Force's Food for Friends program.



The procession included carriages, limousines, wagons and trolleys, bands and walking groups. Parade participants wore tuxedos, summer suits, and dresses with big Easter hats


The Gay Easter Parade was the third and final procession to pass through the Quarter on Sunday.
